Supreme x The North Face – Autumn 2012
Supreme, the New York based skate clothing brand famous for its seasonal collaborations, has teamed up for a second time this year with The North Face to release two new products. This comes at an ideal time just as the Northern Hemisphere begins to drop in temperature.
The Mountain Shell Jacket is custom fit featuring a water resistant cotton corduroy. With The North Face’s reputation as a specialised outdoor-wear manufacturer, you can be sure that the jacket will provide warmth during the coming winter months.
The Medium Day Pack Backpack features a water resistant corduroy cotton shell with a suede panel across the bottom. Both items are now available from all Supreme stores (L.A., N.Y.C., London and six Japanese locations) in burgundy, navy and green.
Much like the recent Supreme collaborations with Clarks and Vans, the understated colours and designs ensure that these are items that will stand the test of time rather than being a fashion-fad.
The jacket retails at US$298 (£254) and backpack at US$138 (£112). The collaboration is almost certainly already sold out by the time you read this.
